Further to the Company's announcement dated 28 February 2003 (Ref: JT-030228-43243), the Board of Directors of Jaya Tiasa Holdings Berhad wishes to announce that the Foreign Investment Committee has on 29 April 2003 approved the Proposed Acquisition.

The Proposed Acquisition has been completed on 28 August 2003.
