The Board of Directors of Jaya Tiasa Holdings Berhad ("JTH" or "the Company") wishes to announce that JTH proposes to seek its shareholders' approval for the proposed shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transaction of a revenue or trading nature (hereinafter referred to as the "Proposal") at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company ("AGM").

The existing mandate for recurrent related party transaction granted by the shareholders of the Company at the AGM held on 29 September 2005 will lapse at the conclusion of the forthcoming AGM.

The Notice of the forthcoming AGM to approve the Proposal will be announced at a later date.

A Circular setting out details of the Proposal will be despatched to the Shareholders of the Company in due course.
